Transferring Shares

If you are selling your property make sure that you let the Realtor and the Title Company know that you have irrigation shares.  

On the back of your Share Certificate, you can sign it over to the new owner. Give the signed certificate to the Title Company who will return it to us upon closing.

If you are selling partial acreage and keeping the remaining acreage you still do the same.  Sign over on the back how many shares you are transferring to the new owner and to whom.  You will be reissued a new share certificate for the remaining shares and the new owner will receive a share certificate.  

The Title Company will contact us to find out if your maintenance fees are up to date. They will prorate the yearly maintenance fees in the closing.

Stock transfer fee is $20.00 per share certificate.

Stock certificate must be yielded or a notarized statement of loss of certificate provided to issue or transfer shares.

Secretary/Treasurer or Board Member approval must occur before all transfer or issuance of shares.
